My name is Ryan, I am the proud owner along with my wife Tiffany of Booner Taxidermy and
now Booner Custom Meats.
Growing up, I developed a deep love for the outdoors, spending my days hiking, fishing, and dirt
bike riding. As I transitioned into adulthood, my passion for hunting and the desire to provide
food for my family started at a family barbeque. The taste of wild game along with my passion
for the outdoors led me and my wife to hunt and harvest our own food.
After having some taxidermy work completed on our animals, I realized there were anatomical
errors. When I was turned down by a taxidermist to complete a mount, I decided to start reading
and learning all I could about taxidermy with my wife’s support. I started mounting my own
animals inside my home along with close friends. I quickly gained a reputation for our
exceptional quality and dedication to customer satisfaction.
My wife and I take pride in the ability
to preserve the memories and stories behind each hunt, ensuring that our customers can relive
those moments for years to come. We love hearing the stories of a kids’ first hunt or how a son
or daughter got to hunt with their father or grandfather one last time. Preserving those memories
can be as simple as a European mount with a plaque that holds a picture, or a backpack mount
that has a special trinket on it, and onto shoulder and life size animals; they all tell a story.
My wife and I recently started a butcher company when local firefighters could not find anyone
to butcher their animals. We are working to be the go-to place, your one-stop shop for hunters.
We provide skinning, butchering, and mounting services. We can also provide custom meats
and snack sticks for those who process their own meat as well.
I am so thankful to be where I am today, a family man, friend, and business owner.
